Gratitude In the Middle — Habakkuk 3:16-19
Thanksgiving may have passed, but the message of gratitude is never out of season. I recently had the privilege of preaching a sermon titled Gratitude In the Middle, drawn from Habakkuk 3:16-19, and I’ve just posted it to the blog.
This is one of the most powerful passages in the Old Testament. Habakkuk teaches us how to choose gratitude not after the storm passes, but right in the middle of uncertainty, fear, and unanswered questions. His declaration, “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,” still has a way of steadying the soul in every season.
I shared this message at one of our coastal churches here in the South Carolina Ministry Network, and it was a wonderful day. God’s presence was obvious from the opening moments, and I left deeply encouraged by what He is doing in His people.
