THE LEADER’S SUMMIT
The Leader’s Summit – The Leader’s Summit is a focused training experience designed to inspire, equip, and strengthen pastors, staff, and ministry leaders. Through practical teaching, biblical insights, and honest conversations, leaders are challenged to grow personally and lead effectively in today’s ministry context. Each session is crafted to provide encouragement, sharpen leadership skills, and offer resources that help leaders serve with excellence and longevity.
Session 1: Lead Yourself First – The foundation of leadership begins not with leading others, but with leading yourself. In this session, we explore guarding your heart, clarifying your motives, and embracing accountability.
Session 2: Lead With Vision – One of the most significant resources a leader can offer — is a clear and compelling vision. People can go without a lot of things in life, but they cannot thrive without vision.
Session 3: Lead With People In Mind – Ministry, at its core, isn’t about programs — it’s about people. While we plan events, organize programs, rehearse music, and balance budgets — these aren’t the real purpose for which we exist. The true purpose and heartbeat of this church, and of every ministry within it, is people.
Session 4: Lead With Courage – Ministry isn’t always easy. People misunderstand you. Volunteers quit. Budgets run tight. Criticism comes. Sometimes you pour yourself out, and it feels like no one notices. Courageous leadership isn’t the absence of fear—it’s choosing to trust God more than the obstacles you face.
Session 5: Lead For Legacy – Legacy doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through intentional relationships. The greatest impact of your ministry will not be in what you do, but in who you develop.
Closing Charge & Commissioning of Leaders – In this closing session, we acknowledge the call of God on the lives of our leadership teams and affirm their work for the Lord. We wrap up the day with challenging them to lead well, commissioning them for service, and pray over each one.

LEADERSHIP LESSONS
Leadership is more than what you know—it’s about who you are and how you lead. True leadership goes beyond information; it requires wisdom to transform knowledge into meaningful impact. Great leaders inspire, guide, and shape others through integrity, vision, and decisive action. They cultivate habits that not only strengthen their own leadership but also empower those around them. The resources below are designed to equip you with practical insights and proven principles to help you lead with wisdom, effectiveness, and purpose.
Lesson #1 – Seek the Lord Continually
Leadership isn’t really so much about gaining knowledge, it’s about gaining wisdom. The ultimate source of wisdom is found in the person of Jesus. In this lesson, we’ll explore the importance of seeking Him above all.
Lesson #2 – Leading from a Position of Strength
True leadership is not about personal strength or ability but about complete dependence on the Holy Spirit, who empowers, guides, and sustains us beyond our limitations.
Lesson #3 – Practice the Presence of God
Great leadership flows not from constant striving but from abiding in God’s presence, where we gain the strength, wisdom, and peace to lead well.
Lesson #4 – Pray with Expectation
Leaders who pray with expectation inspire faith, align with God’s will, and lead with confidence in His promises.
Lesson #5 – Leading with Biblical Wisdom
Leaders who are rooted in God’s Word gain wisdom, clarity, and strength to lead with integrity and spiritual authority.
Lesson #6 – Be Intentional, Plan Well
Great leaders plan with purpose, but their success comes from committing every step to God and trusting Him to establish the right path.
Great leaders see beyond the present, trusting in God’s plan, leading with faith, and inspiring others to move toward His greater purpose.
Lesson #8 – Proclaim the Vision Often
Vision fades without reinforcement. Leaders who consistently proclaim the vision keep their teams aligned, motivated, and moving forward.
Lesson #9 – Hold Tight to Mission
Leadership isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about staying faithful despite them.
Lesson #10 – Passion for Ministry
Nothing great is ever accomplished without passion, and this is especially true in ministry.
Trust is the currency of leadership, and it is earned and sustained through consistent integrity, Christ-centered identity, and character that speaks louder than charisma.
Lesson #12 – Faithfulness and Fruitfulness
Faithfulness is the foundation of fruitful leadership—when leaders steward God’s assignments with consistency and integrity, lasting impact will follow in His perfect timing.
The greatest impact of our lives will not be seen by what we lead, but by those we launch. Discover how empowering others expands your influence, strengthens the church, and aligns your leadership with the heart of Christ.
Lesson #14 – Growing Others Into Their Calling
Effective leaders don’t just do ministry—they develop people by training, resourcing, and empowering them to grow into their God-given calling.
Lesson #15 – Deposits and Withdrawals
In leadership, we are constantly engaging in a series of exchanges—moments where we either make deposits into or withdrawals from those we lead. The crucial question we must consistently ask ourselves is this: Are we making more deposits than withdrawals?
Lesson #16 – The Inner Life of a Lasting Leader
A leader’s greatest battles are often fought within, not without. This leadership devotional calls us to seek the Lord first, guard our hearts in success, and strengthen our souls with holy habits so we can lead well and finish well.
