New Leadership Lesson – The Inner Life of a Lasting Leader

New Leadership Lesson Launches Today!

I’m excited to share a brand-new Leadership Lesson with you (Lesson #16)! This lesson is now available on the Leadership Lesson page of this site.

I’ve titled the lesson — The Inner Life of a Lasting Leader.

This devotional talk explores the story of King Uzziah in 2 Chronicles 26, a leader who started strong but stumbled along the way because he neglected what mattered most — his inner life! It’s a sobering reminder that the greatest threats to leadership rarely come from the outside. Uzziah wasn’t defeated by an enemy’s army. Rather, his downfall came from within.

Every leader knows the pressures of responsibility, decisions, and deadlines. But if our character doesn’t grow at the same pace as our opportunities and influence, we risk a grand collapse. That’s why this lesson is so important. It challenges us to:

  • Seek the Lord before seeking success.
  • Guard your heart, especially when things are going well.
  • Strengthen your soul through holy habits.

True, lasting leadership is never just about talent or results—it’s about building a life anchored in devotion to God, humility, and consistency.

Head over to the Leadership Lessons page and dive into The Inner Life of a Lasting Leader. Let it encourage you to not only lead well today but to finish well tomorrow.
