Christmas Long, Long Ago

A New Christmas Sermon (from John 1:1, 14)

There’s something about the Christmas season that awakens a deep sense of wonder in us. Lights go up, familiar songs fill the air, and memories — some joyful, some bittersweet — rise to the surface. Christmas has a way of drawing us back in time.

But the true Christmas story reaches back far beyond our memories. It stretches beyond Bethlehem, beyond shepherds and angels, beyond the manger itself. According to John’s Gospel, it reaches all the way into eternity.

— Before there was a world, there was Christ.

— Before the first Christmas morning, there was the eternal Word.

— Long, long before Bethlehem, Jesus already was.

That is the theme of my newest Christmas sermon, Christmas Long, Long Ago. It’s a message that invites us to see Christmas through a wider lens — not simply as a moment in history, but as a mission born in the heart of God before time began. And when we understand Christmas this way, everything changes: our worship deepens, our gratitude grows, and our hearts are steadied by the God who came near.

If you’re longing for a richer, more awe-filled encounter with Christ this season, I want to invite you to read and discover the full message. You can find in on the Sermons Page, or follow the link belo!:
